G2+ / 4+n
Replacing an intercom: G2+, 4+n or 1+n?
G2+ uses two non-polarized wires; the ROCK kit shown uses analogue 4+n. Existing 1+n, 2Plus or GB2 systems are not automatically compatible. Reuse depends on wiring condition, topology, length and conductor size.

Can existing wiring be reused?
Sometimes. System type, condition, length and conductor size must be checked. Two wires alone do not guarantee G2+ compatibility.
Handset or handsfree?
A handset phone requires lifting the receiver. Handsfree lets you speak without it. Both can operate a correctly connected door lock.
Is a lock included in every kit?
No. Lock type and power are selected for the system and door; analogue and G2+ requirements may differ.
What does installation cost?
It depends on dwellings, entrances, panel, phones, wiring, lock and work scope. Send building details for a quotation.
